Self Defence: Defending against a front hold

In self-defense, knowing how to disrupt an attacker’s control over you is crucial. If the attacker is watching your every move, start by pressing your thumb into the point of their chin. While doing this, use your other hand to hold the back of their head, applying firm pressure. This technique often causes enough discomfort for them to release their hold.

Once freed, follow up by cupping your hand and slamming your palm into the attacker’s ear. This move impacts the eardrum, causing disorientation and giving you the chance to escape safely.

At Zelus Academy, our online Self Defense course teaches practical methods like these to manage real-life threats. Through Self Defense online learning, you’ll gain valuable skills from trained professionals, learning techniques that can make a difference in a critical moment.
