Keyboard:Learn to play the C scale on the keyboard

In the online Keyboard course at Zelus Academy, learning proper hand positioning and finger techniques is essential for smooth playing. Start from middle C and play the notes in ascending order: C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C. As you progress, focus on the tuck technique, which is crucial for fluidity.

When you reach C-D-E with your right hand, tuck your thumb (1) under the other fingers after playing E, and use it to play F. As you do this, reposition your fingers so they are ready to continue up the scale. Now, use your index finger (2) to play G, your middle finger (3) to hit A, your ring finger (4) for B, and finish with your little finger (5) on the higher C.

This thumb tuck technique is essential in Keyboard online learning, enabling you to move smoothly across the keys without unnecessary pauses. Practicing this regularly will help improve your speed, accuracy, and control, preparing you to master more complex pieces. With consistent practice in the online Keyboard course, you'll become proficient in this fundamental skill. Continue reading
