Football: Introduction to football and how to warm up

At Zelus Academy’s online football course, we kick off with jogging to warm up while integrating dynamic movements like arm rotations and knee-ups to enhance coordination and agility. Following the warm-up, participants dive into ladder exercises designed to improve quick foot movements and balance.

After these individual drills, learners are divided into two groups to engage in speed relay races, adding a competitive edge to the training and emphasizing speed and endurance. The session progresses to practicing continuous ground passes, focusing on maintaining control and precision with the ball, essential skills for effective gameplay.

Transitioning to more technical skills, participants then work on tapping techniques to refine their touch and control under different circumstances. The session culminates with heading drills where players practice heading the ball back to their partners, strengthening their ability to use different parts of their body to control the ball accurately.

Each of these activities in our football online learning program is structured to simulate game scenarios and enhance overall football skills, making it an immersive and comprehensive training experience for participants eager to improve their game. Continue reading
