Hockey: Perfect your passing game in a fast-moving group of four

At Zelus Academy’s online hockey course, we introduce innovative strategies to optimize team performance, such as the dynamic 3+1 formation drill. In this exercise, players are divided into a structured formation: three players positioned forward and one player at the back. The player at the rear initiates the play by passing the ball to any of the three forwards and promptly transitions to join the forward line.

Meanwhile, the three players without the ball continuously rotate positions, creating fluid movement and unpredictable patterns to confuse the opposing defense. This exercise emphasizes both quick decision-making and seamless coordination among teammates, essential elements for success on the hockey field.

Through our online platform, participants can access detailed instructions and demonstrations of the 3+1 formation drill, allowing them to practice and refine their skills from anywhere, at any time. Join Zelus Academy’s online hockey course to master dynamic formations and elevate your team’s tactical prowess on the ice. Continue Reading
